Da Te Research InstituteDalian Da Te Gas Co., Ltd. has established a Gas Research Institute as a technical R&D institution, gathering highly educated and capable talents in standard gas and related process development. Led by Director Qu Qing and Gas Research Institute Director Li Fufen, it fully develops key technical projects that highly impact company development and industry progress, such as standard gases, standard reagents, process improvements, and standardization work, investing about 5% of the company's sales revenue into R&D. The R&D investment over the past three years is shown in the table below:
Scientific Research Quality Control
At the end of 2021, the company established a dedicated R&D institution, Dalian Da Te Gas Research Institute, which includes an R&D center and a technology center, mainly responsible for new product development, product technical improvements, and process improvements.
The institute has established a complete R&D process system (document process list as shown in Figure 2.5.4.3.2-1). Projects are managed sequentially through feasibility study, project proposal, project approval, product or technology development, and project closure. In the project proposal, through careful study and analysis of the overall project objectives, a reasonable timetable and plan are formulated, important milestones and critical paths are determined to ensure smooth project progress; at the same time, regular monitoring and evaluation of project progress and achievements are conducted to promptly identify and resolve existing problems to ensure the project meets its goals; comprehensive risk analysis and assessment are conducted, response measures for potential issues are developed, and emergency plans are rehearsed to ensure project safety; the R&D process is documented through R&D work logs, work hour records, process output documents, various test reports, or experimental reports. Such measures ensure the quality and progress of project implementation.
